Free Crochet Shawl Pattern

This shawl was nice and quick.

The free pattern can be found HERE
It is the Caron Triad Shawl

I used the same pattern (stitches and all), but used a much larger hook and yarn. I also did not add any edging or continue from the beginning of the first piece. (if you read the pattern this will make sense. This shawl is only made from side 1)

Materials:
5mm Hook
Navy and  Burgundy Value Yarn
12 blue rows (6x2 rows of pattern) each end
68 Burgundy rows (34x2 rows of pattern) (or until desired length)

 Size:
24" Width X 48" Length

*** It is long enough to lay across the bottom of a double size bed.

***Sam the cat approves of the shawl!

Free Crochet Shawl Pattern (Pink & White)

Time for another FREE crochet shawl pattern!

This shawl just flew by.

Before I knew it I was weaving in the ends to finish! (my least favourite part)

Marerials I used:

Loops & Threads Impecable
(Rich Orchid) (1 Ball)

Red Heart Super Saver
(White) (for the boarder)

6.0 mm crochet hook

Tapestry needle

I love chart patterns.

I search "Free Crochet Chart Pattern " and decide based on the photo and chart.

This pattern I found the exact same way.
The chart pattern can be found HERE

The dimentions of this shawl are 50" across the back and 26" in length.

The last 2 rows of the pattern were repeated until
the final size was reached.
Make it as big or small as needed!
Weave in the ends and you are done!

The Free crochet pattern can be found HERE

I found it easy to follow along with a video of how to crochet the pattern found HERE

The measurements are about 60" across the back and 30" long.

I used a value yarn with a 5.5mm ( I ) Hook.

The Pattern is written for a much smaller yarn and hook than I used (3.5mm/E )

Free Crochet Shawl Pattern

I haven't posted anything recently, but that doesn't mean I havn't had projects on the go!

There is always left-over yarn from any project that I make.

If there isn't, I haven't finished the project yet and have to hope there is the same dye lot left at the store to purchase more.

I have recently been crocheting shawls with some left-over yarn.

Here is the final product (see below)!  The Free Crochet Shawl Pattern can be found HERE

I used Patons Classic Worsted Wool (Royal Purple).
I made it to the same dimensions as the Pattern. (20" long and 50" wide.)  I used 2 balls and a 5mm hook. I also single crocheted a nice finished row across the top.

It went quick and I used up some of my stash.
